SIMPLIFICATION OF THE RANGE 
The Italian brand speaks of & quot; simplification and standardization & quot; of the ranges of these two models in Europe. This means that the Model Year 2022 should be proposed within the various European markets without particular differences. One way, probably, also to simplify the production of the cars.
Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio 2022 are available in the Super, Sprint, Ti, Veloce and Quadrifoglio trim levels. The standard features are enriched and already; in the basic version we find, among other things, wireless charging for smartphones, adaptive cruise control, aluminum finishes, sports steering wheel and for the Giulia only the double exhaust terminal and the front bumper of the Veloce version.
The manufacturer then decided to simplify the customization of its cars through a series of specific packs. Among these there is the one that allows the Giulia and Stelvio to have Level 2 driving assistance. In addition, it also includes a system that detects driver fatigue.
The car manufacturer says that at the level of engines there are no particular differences compared to the model year 2021. Giulia therefore remains offered in the diesel versions 2.2 160 hp and 190 hp or 210 hp with all-wheel drive. Then we find the 2.0 turbo petrol engine in the 200 HP and 280 HP versions for the model with the Q4 all-wheel drive. The 280 bhp petrol with rear-wheel drive comes out of the list.
Alfa Romeo Stelvio & egrave; offered with the 2.2 diesel with 160, 190 and 210 hp. Only the 160hp model has rear-wheel drive. In all other cases there is the integral one. The 190 HP version with rear-wheel drive only comes out of the list. As for the petrol offer, we have the 2.0 turbo of 200 and 280 HP with all-wheel drive. Obviously, the Quadrifoglio V6 remains for both Giulia and Stevio.
All variants are combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission . All that remains is to wait for the details of the prices for the Italian market.
