Guitarist Keith Richards confirms to the Los Angeles Times that the song – which depicts slavery and black women – will no longer be played during the band's US tour.

The 77-year-old rock profile states however, not themselves able to understand why there have been demands for the song to be stopped.

– Did they not understand that the song is about the horrors of slavery? They're trying to bury the song. At the moment, I do not want to get into conflicts over all this shit, says Keith Richards.
