KPN is struggling with the network failure in the Southeast of the Netherlands – update

KPN customers in the Southeast of the Netherlands may not be able to call, text and access the internet on their phone or laptop. The provider is facing in that region with a fault. The duration and cause of the outage is yet unknown, says the provider.

The outage began Tuesday morning early, as appears from the storingstopic on GoT, where people share their experiences. The fault seems to concentrate in the province of Limburg and a part of North-Brabant, is evident from the notifications. KPN confirms the fault on their own website.

Not only the customers of KPN, but also of providers on the network of KPN operate seem to be affected by the fault. Many customers of Hi have also been reported in the topic. It is unclear when customers using the mobile network of KPN can call, sms or surf the internet. The provider advises customers to use their device off and then on again to see if the range is restored.

Update 16:04: KPN reports that the outage is resolved, after from half past eleven this morning, a lot of people already reach. The reason was a software problem in the central of Eindhoven.
