Spotify What's New
There are not many opportunities to see your favorite artists live. That is why many people rely on streaming music services to stay informed about new albums and releases. Spotify wants to help you with that even more with a special ‘What’s New’ feed. This allows you to keep an eye on the most recent releases and podcasts via the iPhone app. If you follow certain artists you will be immediately notified when there is something new. More than 50,000 hours of content are added to Spotify every day, so there's a chance you're overlooking something.
Filters help you keep only the music, podcasts and episodes in your news feed. see what you are really interested in. It updates in real time, so you can start listening right away if you see something interesting. You can find the ‘What’s New’ feed by tapping the bell icon (🔔) at the top of the home screen. A blue dot indicates that there is something new to report.
Is your feed still a bit empty? Then you will have to follow some additional genres or artists. You do this by going to an artist's profile page and following them.
