A police patrol in central Köping was noticed at the car hijacking at a quarter to ten last night. A woman had then forcibly forced the keys to a man's car, and drove away with the car.
The police started the search for the stolen car, which went along Sveavägen to Vretlundavägen. There, the woman drove over lawns and a football field, continued out on Barnhemsgatan and collided with a tree. The woman, who is in her 20s, was arrested on suspicion of robbery, gross negligence in traffic, illegal driving, aggravated drunk driving and minor drug offenses. The woman has now been arrested for a crime.
