Nissan Leaf MY 2021: in dealerships with the new AVAS & quot; Canto & quot; system

The Nissan Leaf Model Year 2021 is arriving in dealerships this July. NEW AVAS SOUND SYSTEM

The Japanese manufacturer says that this system & egrave; was created in Japan by the team of Marco Fioravanti , current Regional Vice President, Product Planning AMIEO, in collaboration with a team of sound designers. & quot; Singing & quot; & egrave; It was then adapted to the European market at the Nissan Technical Center Europe.

The sound generated by the AVAS varies the pitch when accelerating, decelerating or reversing . As mentioned at the beginning, the sound system works up to a speed; 30 km/h, creating an audible but never invasive or alarming effect for pedestrians. As explained by Nissan, the designers started in the acceleration, deceleration or reverse phases to develop a recognizable sound system in urban contexts and on European roads.

The Nissan Leaf Model Year 2021 & egrave; always available in the version with 40 kWh battery in the Acenta, Business, N-Connecta and Tekna versions and in the variant with 62 kWh accumulator in the Acenta, N-Connecta and Tekna. The first is characterized by a 110 kW engine and an autonomy of up to 270 km and the second for a 160 kW engine with a mileage of up to 385 km. Speaking of prices , it starts from 31,000 euros which go down to 20,800 euros with incentives and Nissan contribution.
