Saoirse Ronan will play in a feminist Macbeth. Stock Photography.Picture: Jordan Strauss/AP/TT The four-time Oscar-nominated Saoirse Ronan, known from among others “Ammonite”, makes his debut on the British theater stage, according to The Guardian. The Irish actor will play Lady Macbeth in a feminist version of Shakespeare's classic drama. The idea is that the play will show a more equal relationship between the Macbeths. It will premiere in September at the Almeida Theater in London. Ronan has also previously been praised for her performance in the Broadway production “The Crucible”, 2016.
