Still, over 80 percent of people in Kenya with fire wood or charcoal cooking, although the deforestation in the country is dramatic. Small biogas plants are being made to change. As a by-product sludge can be used as a good fertilizer to use in the plants, lazy, better even than the cow dung. Now the farmers are hoping for a good vegetable harvest.
