The soccer indoor series winner VfL Wolfsburg and Underdog SC Freiburg contest on 1. May in Cologne, the German Cup final. The VfL, Cup winner of the last four years, won in the semi-final round on Sunday in a rematch of the previous year’s finals, with Bayern Munich, but surprisingly clear with 4:0 (2:0).
Bundesliga leaders Wolfsburg showed a good recovery from the quarter-final knockout in the Champions League against the defending Champions Olympique Lyon. The point is the same table, the second from Munich, which reached in the Premier class for the first time in the semi-finals, was the German champion by the double blow of Caroline Hansen (25.) and Pernille Harder (31.) before the home side clearly in the lead.
