New series of 3d glasses Panasonic supports m-3di standard

Panasonic brings reportedly on the IFA fair in Berlin a new series of 3d glasses. The new 3d glasses would be the first the m-3di specification, a standard for 3d glasses of Panasonic and XpanD support.

The new 3d-brillijn of Panasonic is, according to Flatpanelshd from the models with the order no. TY-EW3D3LW, TY-EW3D3MW and TY-EW3D3SW, the first of the largest size and the last one is the smallest for children. The three models will be in three colourways are available. The largest model weighs only 27 grams, and is a gram lighter than the 3d glasses that Samsung for the first time early this year at CES showed and 11 grams lighter than the second generation 3d glasses from Panasonic.

Panasonic has its derdegeneratie-3d glasses with a rechargeable battery with snellaadfunctie. Two-minute charging time is, therefore, sufficient for three hours of 3d-viewing, while for the full duration of 25 hours, the battery for 30 minutes should be charged. For charging the usb port of the tv can also be used. Also, the glass according to Panasonic thinner than the previous generation and let more light through, not unimportant for plasma tvs, which often have more difficulty than lcd tv’s light output in 3d.

The glasses are the first m-3di, a standard for active 3d glasses, support. Panasonic and XpanD are the initiators of this standard, but up to now, still few major tv manufacturers to the m-3di-port reported. Panasonic will be the new, lightweight shutter-glasses officially present at IFA. The list price of the new models is not yet known.
