Samsung has released a new wide monitor with curved screen announced. The SE790C has an aspect ratio of 21:9, screen diagonal of 34 inches, and ultrawide-QHD resolution of 3440×1440 pixels.
Samsung has its line of curved screens, enhanced with a new high-endmodel. The SE790C is a wide model with 21:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels. The curvature radius is 3000mm. The diagonal screen size is 34 inches, making it the largest curved monitor from Samsung until now; in september, it announced that Samsung has a 27″model with curved screen and fullhd resolution. LG already has a similar monitor.
The SE790C has viewing angles of 178 degrees and the monitor has a va panel. The static contrast ratio is 3000:1 and the maximum brightness is 300 cd/m2. Further, there are two 7W speakers integrated, and there are four usb 3.0 ports. Also, there is a displaport and there are two hdmi connectors. The monitor supports picture-by-picture and picture-in-picture. More details such as price and availability, Samsung undoubtedly disclose on the CES-consumer electronics at the beginning of January in Las Vegas takes place.
