Red Hat has a new version of the Linux distro Enterprise Linux 5 issued. RHEL 5.7 provides, in addition to the necessary security patches, including support for new hardware and improvements to the Xen hypervisor.
Although Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 in november came out last year, continues to Red Hat until 2017 updates for RHEL 5 release.
