“Base comes with its own cloudopslagdienst”

The Belgian telecom company has quietly opened the doors of a private cloudopslagdienst for the consumer market opened. Basecloud offers subscribers with 1GB of free storage. Against payment can more space be purchased. There will also be a mobile Android app.

Tweaker Endus able to report that the storage space on Basecloud can be enlarged up to 32GB for 1.50 euros per month. Who monthly 9 euro puts get 200GB of cloud storage. Base-subscribers can use different text codes the free storage and the paid packages activated in the mobile provider. The subscription fees will be billed with the monthly invoice. The new cloudopslagdienst for individuals to follow after the opening of the Base Business Cloud.

Base is also working on an Android app for its storage service. A trial version is currently the beta is available. The app should be via side-loading to be installed and is therefore not yet available in the Google Play Store. The app provides, among others, the automatic synchronization of pictures, videos, contacts and sms messages. Or there is also an iOS and Windows Phone version will come, is still unclear.
