Apple has its MacBook Air and Mac mini line upgrade. The new models differ appearance is not of their predecessors, but are of faster processors and Thunderbolt. Also, there is a new Cinema Display.
The cheapest new MacBook Air 11,6″ has an energy-efficient Intel Core i5 processor with a clock speed of 1.6 GHz. On Intel’s price list, however, is no Core i5 with the clock speed. It’s probably going to be the Core i5-2557M-dual-core, which has a cache of 3 MB and a tdp of 17 watts, but with Apple, the clock speed has been reduced from 1.7 GHz to 1.6 GHz. The 11.6″model has 2GB of memory and flash storage with a capacity of 64GB. The more expensive version of this model has the same processor, but 4GB of memory and 128GB of flash storage. The 11.6″-MacBook Air can optionally have a Core i7-2677M with a clock speed of 1.8 GHz are provided, in addition to 4GB memory and an ssd of 256GB.
The 13,3″-model by default, a Core i5-2557M-dual-core with a clock speed of 1.7 GHz, 3MB cache and a tdp of 17 watts. This model has 4GB of memory and a flashdisk of 128GB. Again the more expensive version of the same processor and this model has 4GB memory, but the ssd has a storage capacity of 256GB. Optional 13.3″-MacBook Air with a 1.8 GHz processor be equipped, probably the recently Intel released Core i7-2677M.
The new models include a Thunderbolt interface, and also Apple has the models of a backlit keyboard. This last is the default for the MacBook Pro, but was lacking in the previous generation Airs. Finally, support for bluetooth 4.0 will be added. Further, Apple has not changes. For example, the resolutions of the screens still 1400×900 pixels for the 13,3″model, and 1366×768 pixels for the 11.6″variant. With the advent of the fuel-efficient Sandy Bridge chips, Apple will say goodbye to the Nvidia 320M gpu and the outdated Core 2 Duo’s.

Apple has two new Mac minis and a Mac mini Server model was released. It is remarkable that the optical drive the field to clear out.
