“UPC proposes to roll-out ipv6”

UPC has the roll-out of ipv6 is delayed. The kabelaar was originally planning to have ipv6 support already this year. UPC dares now, no new date on which the company begins the roll-out of ipv6.

The kabelaar says that the introduction of ipv6 is still not even scheduled. “The condition was always and still is that the introduction of ipv6 is no or as little as possible impact for our customers,” says spokeswoman Ilse de Sain in a statement to Tweakers. “The offer of ipv6 is a complex project that with the greatest of care is being prepared. Only when all tests have been successfully completed and everything is ready, will the release be planned.”

UPC dares no new date in which the ipv6 for all customers will offer. The kabelaar said in september quickly with a trial to begin among a small group of customers. Those tests would have been successful, claimed the UPC in november.
