Microsoft has a new app for Windows Phone 7 released which is a Windows Server system can be managed. The application may, in addition to management, also used for different types of media to stream.
The app is called full Windows Server Solutions Phone Connector and can not only with the Home edition of Windows Home Server to handle, but also work together with Small Business Server and Storage Server 2008 R2.
For the application to connect to the server, you must first add-in be installed which is responsible for the communication with the phone. In addition, must have Remote Web Access enabled. Then from the Marketplace, the app has to be installed that corresponds with the version of Windows Server that is used.
With the application, notifications, user accounts, and backups are managed. It is also with Home Server 2011 and Storage Server 2008 R2 music, photos and videos to the phone to stream. The Small Business version has this option not.
