Chipbakker TSMC would currently run tests with the production of Apple’s upcoming A6-soc. If the yields are good enough to prove, then would Apple consider to be chipproductie to switch from Samsung to TSMC.

That reports Reuters on the basis of an anonymous source. TSMC would be in possession of all information necessary to complete the not yet announced the A6 soc to be manufactured. Presumably, this will be used in the iPhones and iPads in 2012 come true. The iPhone 4 uses an A4 soc as the iPad 2 be powered by the dual-core A5. The A6 chip will probably be about four cores.

Or Apple actually with TSMC in the sea, would mainly depend on the yields that the chipbakker know to realize. There have been going longer rumors that Apple are chipproductie at Samsung wants to remove: the two are currently embroiled in a number of lawsuits about intellectual property.
