HP is one of the first manufacturers to announce a Haswell processor for a tablet to use. Intel-based tablets and smartphones possess usually processors in the Atom series, because it’s relatively low power consumption and so little of the battery of questions and not much heat to develop. Intel has with its new Haswell-series mainly on power management focus, which concepts, without fan, such as that of HP easier to produce.
Except Haswell has Intel the Merrifield-Atom, a new processors announced.
