Photos of new thin Sony Vaio Z appear

A Chinese site has photos of a new Sony Vaio Z posted. The notebook with 13.3″screen and Core i7 gets a brushed aluminum cover and a glass touchpad. An external blu-ray drive would be a Radeon HD 6700M gpu.

Sony showed at the end of april a yet to be released new Vaio and the Chinese site IT168 has now detailed photos of the device published. The laptop with 13.3″screen 1,13 kilos, and will be in black and gold come out. Standard would be the model with an ssd equipped, and the processor would be a Core i7 from Intel, while the gpu model from AMD’s Radeon HD 6700M-line.

The laptop would no optical drive; Sony would be an external slotloading blu-ray drive for the model offering. This drive would also serve as a dock and the system has an additional Radeon HD 6700M gpu, in addition to a few ports, such as ethernet, vga, and Sony’s implementation of Intel’s Thunderbolt, claims Electronista. The Chinese site IT168 reports these last details, however, are not.
