‘Anonymousleden were victims of compromised ddos tool’

Members of the loose-fixed hackersgroepering Anonymous have been referred to a denial-of-service tool in which the Zeus trojan was processed. Because of this, an unknown number of ‘hacktivists’ may be robbed of passwords and financial data lwa le data.

According to the security company to have criminals on Pastebin an old Anonymous posting is copied and in the document the link to the ddos tool Slowloris modified. The link would refer to a version of Slowloris that the infamous Zeus malware was included. Also, it was around January 20, a ddos guide for beginners’ on Pastebin posted that same link was offered.

According to Symantec, the infected Slowloris tool, probably thousands of times, and harvested after Anonymous members, ddos attacks started to perform in protest against, among other things, the closing of MegaUpload. Also, among other things, via Twitter still refer to the guide on Pastebin.

After the infected version of Slowloris is installed, the Zeus trojan is silently a botnet client to activate and attempt to hide to pretend to be the Slowloris-executable. Although Zeus can also be used as a ddos tool, the malware is mainly used for passwords and financial data of loot. In addition, Zeus is difficult to detect and difficult to remove from Windows systems.
