‘Referentiebord for GTX 670 Ti shows stacked power connector’

There is a picture and a schematic drawing online came from the referentiebord for Nvidia’s GK104 gpu, the Kepler architecture based, and possibly as GTX 670 Ti comes out. There is, among other things, a stacked power connector.

The first series of photos which, according to Techpowerup on the Chinese site Expreview online came, showed in detail the stacked double zespins connector. A later picture and photo of a fully pcb, which is on the Chinese site ChipHell published, showed that this jack on a referentiebord of possible Nvidia’s video card with the GK104 gpu sits. There would also stacked variants with 8pin+6pin in the making. The card with the GK104-gpu would be later this month as GeForce GTX 670 Ti will appear according to previous rumors, although the Maximum Tech of april speaks.

From the photo of the pcb is that there are eight memory chips around the gpu and the card, so about a 256bits geheugeninterface. Also, a vijffasige power, and two sli-bridgeconnectors to discern. The dvi outputs are also stacked, just as with the Radeon HD5800 – and 6900-series of competitor AMD. In addition to hdmi and displayport is present on the board.
