The company Warpia has the StreamEZ SWP700 announced a wireless hd transmitter that allows an hdmi signal to stream. According to the manufacturer works product with any hdmi device, hdmi 1.4 is not supported.
According to Warpia can with the StreamEZ, which makes use of the whdi standard, without compression a 1080p video signal may be forwarded to a maximum distance of 10 metres. For sending audio is a 5.1 signal with a 48kHz sample rate and 24bit quality supported. The wireless signal is encrypted with hdcp 2.0. Hdmi 1.4, the specification required for playback of 3d-content, is not supported; the StreamEZ can only handle hdmi 1.3.
The StreamEZ consists of a transmitter dongle with an hdmi connector, a receiver, a usb cable for the power supply, an extension which the dongle is pricked and, finally, a remote control to the desired frequency. The devices operate in a frequency range between a 4.9 and 5.9 GHz, which makes the audio and video connection, little inconvenience would have to face from other wireless devices.
Warpia will the StreamEZ following month on the market. The retail price for the wireless hd transmitter is 220 dollars.
