The head of LG’s smartphoneafdeling has proclaimed that his company, Google is negotiating to be the next Nexus smartphone. However, it is still unclear whether LG is a deal and what version of Android it comes.

Google has not brought out about a possible successor of the Galaxy Nexus, the latest Google phone. It is still unclear what stage the talks are currently located.
By the negotiations it seems that Google Nexus smartphone will release for a still-evolving version of Android. The internetgigant introduces new Android versions at the same time with a Nexus phone. The Google devices have as a reference model should contain an unadapted version of the mobile operating system.
The Nexus devices are still all made by HTC or Samsung. HTC made the first Nexus One, then Samsung, the two following models made. The latest version, the Galaxy Nexus, came out with the release of Android 4.0, which is currently the latest Android release. It would be the first time that LG Nexus hardware to Google, though there are also rumors about a possible Nexus tv from LG.
