Samsung is considering its lcd division to make it more independent, following poor figures from this business unit. The company sees more bread in oled. Possible going to the company’s existing lcd production lines to retool for oled production.
Rumors about an impending privatisation of the lcd division of Samsung to do the round, but the Korean electronics giant has told Reuters now confirmed that a spin-off of its lcd-branch is considered.
