Pictures show interface BlackBerry 10

A BlackBerry fansite has released the first images published of BlackBerry 10, the still secret operating system that BlackBerry OS needs to go follow-up. In the interface including widgets and a new dial screen.

The interface looks are not revolutionary different than that of BlackBerry OS 7, but the icons are interactive. It shows the clock icon on the next clock, while the icon for the Photos app to a photo from the collection shows. On the homescreen are the widgets to see which is the most reminiscent of the multitaskscherm in MeeGo Harmatten, the operating system, on Nokia’s smartphone N9.

Below the screen are three buttons visible for frequently used functions: call, search and photos make. Also, there is a picture of a new call screen. BlackBerry 10 is no longer based on Java, such as all previous versions of BlackBerry OS. Instead, should the Neutrino OS, RIM acquired QNX, as a basis. RIM already working with QNX-based system, BlackBerry Tablet OS, which works on the PlayBook tablet.

The images posted by CrackBerry, one of the most well-known BlackBerry fan sites. CrackBerry has a lot of contacts with RIM and was the only one who after the arrival of the new director Thorsten Heins interview got. The phones the screenshot for you to see, are a recent Torch 9860 and the Torch 9810.

The first smartphones with BlackBerry 10 later this year. Current phones get no upgrade, so was rather obvious. Apps written for BlackBerry OS 7 works well on BlackBerry 10 and vice versa, the same applies: apps for BlackBerry 10 can also run on current BlackBerry’s.
