KPN acknowledges that the maintenance of its systems ‘not always optimal. Previously it turned out that KPN is not all the software was updated, so the hack on the company peuleschil would have been. The size of the hack is still not clear.

Last week Wednesday, it was announced that KPN was affected by one or more hackers, who had access to private details of KPN customers. The precise extent of the hack is, however, still unclear. Friday wrote Tweakers.net that the hackers had penetrated to a core router of KPN, which the internet traffic of KPN customers could be intercepted.
