Wolfram Alpha rolls out Wednesday, the premium edition of his ‘antwoordmachine’. The paid service will have a few new features for both the input and output of data. Beyond those features, the rest of Wolfram Alpha (free!).
One of the new uitvoerfeatures, reports ZDNet, is the ability to export to cdf, that allows interactive graphs and formulas, along with other image formats. The paying users also have the option to have all images that Wolfram produces to export and download.
For input, it offers the Pro version with a wider keyboard that is the input of mathematical symbols easier. As input can now also be an image, a sound clip, or is specialized file format can be used. Wolfram analyzes that file for relevant information to present, such as, for example, exif data .
The Wolfram Alpha team alluded last week to the service, but gave no details. The Pro version is available from Wednesday 8 February. The service will be $ 4.99 per month cost, students pay $ 2 less. There is also a trial version available, for which registered.
