Ricoh Netherlands is 100 to 110 jobs

Ricoh Netherlands is going to cut down its workforce. The coming months will be as a result of reorganization of 100 to 110 job cuts. The company says the step is necessary due to a changing market.

Ricoh, well known as the printer manufacturer, wants to focus more on its digital branch, including the provision of document services. Reason would be the falling demand for its print – and kopieerproducten. The reorganization will be 100 to 110 job cuts. It would especially go on to management positions and support staff. Ricoh states that it is a financially healthy company, but that time want to capitalize on the changing demands of its customers.

The staff was Tuesday briefed on the plans. Ricoh will be next month with the trade unions and the works council to sit on the drafting of a social plan. The company, which in the Netherlands 1443 people, would attempt as many as possible of staff to another job, to help. Also promises Ricoh new features in the life to call.
