Microsoft and Alcatel-Lucent have a patentenrechtszaak about the so-called ” Day ” patent settled amicably. The lawsuit was already ten years now. Details about the settlement were not brought out.
The two companies have judge Marilyn Huff of the federal district court in San Diego prompted the lawsuit, which is already ten years voortsleept, to terminate it. Both parties have agreed to each their own legal costs to pay. It is not known what other provisions in the settlement agreement.
