Dynamics demonstrated secure credit cards at CES. A credit card with display shows the entire credit card number only after entering the correct code. Also the cvv code is dynamic, to abuse and skimming.
The American Dynamics showed its products at the CES. The smart credit cards of the company should be subject to more fraud, but also ease of use. The simplest cards are credit cards with a small button and leds on it, that between two accounts, for example, a credit – and a spaaraccount, can be changed.
A more advanced model has a small screen of e-ink by an integrated rechargeable battery is powered. That battery also delivers energy to a built-in chip and would be the life of the card, about five years, must go. With the built-in push buttons can a code be entered, after which the missing credit card numbers on the e-ink display. With another key the cvv code to be requested, which, moreover, is dynamic. Once valid cvv codes must fraud via skimmen tricky.
Dynamics provides the map between two accounts to redeem all of the American Citibank, and is in talks with other banks for the dynamic credit card to roll out. For the European market, there would also be opportunities for the switchable card to enter. A period could the spokesman, however, not yet.
