Nokia gives Symbian smartphone in early 2012 the Belle update

Nokia goes many of its smartphones which are now equipped with Symbian Anna in early 2012 to update to Belle, the new version of the operating system. The update for the N8, E7, X7 and C7 was previously scheduled, but is postponed.

Only devices that comes with Symbian^3 or Symbian Anna are eligible for the update. Smartphones with Symbian S60 like the N97 and N97 Mini, get the update. It is unclear when each device in the update exactly, but it will, in any case, in early 2012, says Nokia in a statement to All About Symbian. The site is gambling that it’s going to be February.

Devices that do have an update include the N8, E7, C7, C6-01 and X7, which are all in the past year and a half came out. Presumably Nokia little to no new models with Symbian release in the Netherlands. In the past time, many announced devices with the operating system in the Netherlands.

Belle is a new version of Symbian with a lot of new interface elements. So is there a notification bar is added, like Android from the top of the screen down can be drawn. Also, the way you add widgets and manage the home screens changed, so that it is reminiscent of the way that Android happens. Further applications appear in main menu instead of in submenus as Office and Applications.
