Google opens ‘Androidland’ in Australia lwa

Google, in collaboration with an Australian telecom provider opened a store that is focused on Android. In the shop, among other things, demonstrations of the capabilities of Google’s mobile operating system.

According to the internetgigant is the shop, which the company has “Androidland”, managed by the provider, Telstra, and the design of the building prepared in cooperation with manufacturers of Androidtoestellen as Motorola, Sony Ericsson, HTC, Samsung and LG. The partnership is remarkable, since the companies compete with each other when it comes to the devices.

In-store Android-phones sold of all brands, but there are also tablets to get. Customers can applications to test with a large touchscreen, and it is possible to use Google Earth service to use.

The store is located in the Australian city of Melbourne. It is unclear whether there are similar shops in other countries. It is likely that it is going to be a test project, and then, when successful, also to other countries is considered.
