On the internet, the first pictures appeared of a new Nikon dslr. It would go to the D800, the successor of the D700. The new full-frame dslr would have an image sensor with 36 megapixels.
The photos of the alleged Nikon D800 appeared on Nikon Rumors, that earlier specifications of the new Nikon camera published. The camera seems to have similar dimensions as its predecessor, but the exact dimensions are not whole. Would the D800 according to the geruchtensite like the new Canon EOS 1D X feature a slightly larger display.
From the photos, it appears that compared to the D700, a small button is placed between the programmakeuzeknop and the shutter button, while the ring around the mode dial linksbovenop a different design. On the back is the af-field selection-switch to the D800 replaced by a possibility to choose between photo or video. Although there are no photos of the side of the dslr, it seems logical that the af-field selection, as with the D7000, is moved to the af-mode button the bottom right of the lensmount.
According to Nikon Rumors would be the earlier assertion that the full-frame-dslr image sensor with 36 megapixels has to be confirmed by the exif data of photos allegedly taken with the camera. The geruchtensite says to be in the possession of these photos.
