Cooler Master introduces socket2011-cooler

Cooler Master has, with the eye on Intel’s upcoming release of its Sandy Bridge E series processors with new socket, a processor fan assembly ge lwa introduced for that socket. The cooler with two fans to be fitted.

By default, one 120mm fan included with the Cooler Masters latest cooler, the first for the Intel lga2011 socket of that company. The Hyper 412S can, however, also with a second fan can be fitted, if additional performance is desired. For a quiet operation, is the single fan with an adapter, the rotation speed reduces from 1300 to 900rpm. The operating noise is thereby respectively to 22.5 and eur 16.1 dBA.

The contact with the Sandy Bridge E cpu is made via four direct contact heatpipes, which transport the heat to the aluminum cooling fins of the cooling tower. The cooler weighs, without fans, 507 grams and is 160mm high. In addition to support for Intel’s new socket are of course also the existing sockets from Intel and AMD, including the FM1 socket for Llano-apus, supported. The cooler will cost 35 euros.
