Seniors love cars and E-Bikes

Of due to old iron: the Elderly, the economy in Germany will help on the jumps, by spending plenty of money. You have to invest, especially in mobility.

In the Generation of over 65-Year-olds, 42 percent had in the previous year, a new car, when the Younger was only 32 percent. The Federal Statistical office informed on Tuesday.

Digital divide between generations

Even with computers, the households of the Elderly (72 percent) were not equipped as good as that of Younger people (94 percent).

However, the share of the Elderly households is strongly increased: five years Ago, only 56 percent had a Computer. The older Generation is also significantly more common online than in the past. Around 49 percent of the seniors took advantage of in 2015 is the Internet, in 2011, only 35 per cent.

In the EU, a significant digital divide between Northern and southern Europe and between Western and Eastern Europe, according to statistics. The pioneer senior citizens in Denmark, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Hardly online, the older people are, however, in Greece, Romania and Bulgaria.
