HP announces eleven laptops with AMD Llano-apus to

HP models are dv – and g-series for consumers and ProBook series for business users to equip with new AMD apus in the A series. It goes to eleven existing models that HP also with Intel processors delivers.

HP Pavilion dv4-, dv6 and dv7 notebooks with respectively 14″-, a 15.6″- and 17.3″screens with AMD A4-dualcores and A8-quadcores rest. HP has the rate benchmarking tool 3DMark 06 used and says that the new models with an AMD A4-apu a more than two times as high score drop if identical notebooks with Phenom N870 processor and AMD chipset with integrated video chip. The dv6 with AMD apu gets a starting price of $ 600, and the dv7 should be in its simplest configuration 700 dollar cost. HP brings also the cheaper Pavilion g4, g6 and g7 laptops with AMD A-apu programs. The starting price of the g4 is, in that capacity, $ 450, and that of the g6 498, while the offset of the g7 499 dollar amounts.

In addition to the consumentenlaptops get also business models AMD chips. The HP ProBook 6465b and 6565b are AMD versions of 14″ and a 15.6″models that HP in February with Intel chips released, and have aluminum housings. Also the cheaper ProBook 4535s, 4435s and 4436s go with AMD chips appear. The starting price of the b-series ProBooks is 679 dollars. The s models have a starting price of 519 dollars. Both laptop series come from the 27th of June, but it is not known what types come to the Netherlands.
