The drink went into the grave in 2009 and, with the exception of a short-lived comeback in 2017, has been missing from store shelves since then.

The company Redcon1 will now relaunch the drink with more than twice as much caffeine as in the original recipe – 200 milligrams per can.

According to CNN, it is focusing on competing with energy drinks such as Red Bull and Monster, rather than the soft drink giants Coca-Cola and Pepsi with whom it competed from the beginning.
