The Finnish grid company Fingrid now states that it will take several months to repair the broken Estlink 2 cable in the Baltic Sea, which broke yesterday.
According to the company, the damage is on the Finnish side.
A press conference with the authorities will be held at 1 p.m. today. Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo will also answer questions from the media.
It is still unclear what is behind the cable breaks, but Russia and China have been identified as possible actors in the event of a possible sabotage.
