SD's demands: Immediately stop the millions to the C pedophile

Domestic. Giving 16 million kronor in tax funds to the defected C-pedophile Gustav Hemming is certainly a strong-willed act. This is the opinion of the Sweden Democrats in the Stockholm Region, who are now demanding immediate measures to stop the payments.

The Center Party member and regional councilor Gustav Hemming resigned after it emerged that he was the one who was put on “Wanted” for masturbating in front of a 13-year-old boy on a train.

Despite this, the 52-year-old C-pedophile can now receive over 90,000 kronor a month of taxpayers' money – right up until his retirement at the age of 67. This corresponds to around 16 million kronor in total, which Fria Tider reported the other day.

The Sweden Democrats in the Stockholm Region are now demanding that the compensation be stopped immediately, Riks reports.

“The fact that tax funds are used to finance pensions for politicians under criminal investigation is deeply inappropriate and raises serious questions about the reasonableness and application of the regulations and thereby damages confidence in the Stockholm Region,” states opposition councilor Msciwoj Swigon (SD).

In a letter, the SD proposes that payments of fixed-term pensions to politicians suspected of crimes be suspended as long as the criminal investigation is ongoing. The party also wants the regulations to be changed so that elected officials who are convicted of crimes can no longer receive similar compensation.

It is still unclear how other parties will react to the proposal, but the Sweden Democrats emphasize that this is crucial to restoring public trust in the political system.

Gustav Hemming has not commented publicly on the accusations or the compensation.
