Recently parties have as SD, KD and the Moderates competed in showing support for Israel.

The Moderates have called Israel's controversial warfare in Gaza “proportional” and SD leader Jimmie Åkesson recently promised a leading Jewish YouTuber to try to restrict the freedom of expressionfundamental law so that demonstrations critical of Israel can be banned on Swedish streets.

But a survey among 3,000 randomly selected Swedes shows that it is hardly the voters that the politicians are trying to appeal to through all their outpourings of support for Israel.
