Domestic. After several sexual crimes against children by representatives of the Center Party, the party is now launching a whistleblower function to expose additional pedophiles in the party.

The function is part of the party's crisis measures and aims to encourage people with relevant information to come forward.
– We have a whistleblowing function. It is open, says Pelle Skogberg, media advisor for the Center Party, to Aftonbladet.
The scandal surrounding regional councilor Gustav Hemming (C) arose after a surveillance film from the Roslagsbanan was shown in the TV program Efterlyst.
The film shows how the C politician masturbates in front of a 13-year-old boy and then steps off the train. A preliminary investigation has now been opened by a prosecutor, where Hemming is suspected of sexually abusing children.
Kristin Jacobsson, head of security and preparedness in the Center Party, has been brought in to lead the party's internal work in this crisis and party secretary Karin Ernlund, who previously worked closely with Hemming, expresses in a written comment to Aftonbladet that she is “both shocked, horrified and angry” at the revelations the data.
Pelle Skogberg tells the newspaper that people who suspect crimes or have themselves been exposed to pedophiles within the Center should contact the whistleblower function.
– Of course, first and foremost you should report to the police if you have been exposed to something that you believe may be criminal. The whistleblower service we have can help with advice and support in such situations, he says.
