A public exchange of views between the professor and doctor Agnes Wold and the left-wing journalist Max V Karlsson caused a stir on X during Friday evening.

The conflict concerns Karlsson's reporting in Dagens ETC about a meeting on gender reassignment arranged by Riksdag members Mikael Oscarsson (KD) and Patrik Björck (S).

Max V Karlsson reports that Agnes Wold – or the “SR profile” who he calls her – stated during the meeting that the demand for “gender-affirming care” would be created by the care itself and reinforced by social media as a form of “social contagion”.

He also mentions that Agnes Wold “praised Donald Trump” and the Republicans for stopping gender reassignment for young people in several states in the USA.

Agnes Wold, who Karlsson claims to have applied for a comment, reacted strongly when she discovered that Sweden's Radio had also been contacted for a comment:

“And that you are contacting SWEDEN'S RADIO! It is beyond disgusting. So you should arrange a small cancellation drive against me,” she writes on X.

After a while, she adds, in a new post:

“Your little snitch.”

She also accuses Karlsson of not trying to reach her by phone during the day and describes his actions as “shocking”.

Karlsson replies:

“Hi Agnes! Your answer is clearly included. You are not misquoted. All the best!”

Agnes Wold's tone has caused several leftist profiles to wonder how the profile actually expresses itself.
