The theory: Putin attacked his own Stockholm embassy

Domestic. The police suspect Russian involvement in two color attacks that occurred on the night of Friday in Stockholm and Gothenburg, Ekot reports.

At the Russian embassy in Stockholm a drone was used to drop paint over the area, while in Gothenburg paint was thrown at the Israeli real estate company Elbit's landlord.

The incidents are being investigated as part of the national effort “Gunder”, which focuses on Sweden's security situation. Within the same effort, the cable breaks in the Baltic Sea are also being investigated.

According to Ekot's information, one of the police's theories is that Russia may be responsible for several of the recent security incidents. Exactly which events are involved is still unclear, but it is about “a handful of events”.
