Domestic. A new survey shows that the percentage of Swedes who are positive about AI is still at a record low level. Instead, the concern is increasing that AI will make incorrect decisions about us.

A new, nationwide survey on Swedes' attitudes towards AI shows that more and more people worry that AI will make wrong decisions about one or give one wrong recommendations. Almost one in two answers that it is their main AI-related concern.
More and more people are also worried about AI encroaching on personal privacy – almost four out of ten rank it as their main concern.
< p>– In Europe, work is underway to introduce the AI regulation, a regulation whose purpose is, among other things, to ensure a safe, transparent and secure use of AI, says Per Nydén, lawyer at IMY and expert on the AI regulation, in a statement.
The survey, which is being conducted for the seventh year in a row, shows that the percentage who are positive about AI is still at a record low level, since the first survey.
However, close to half see opportunities with AI at work, while very few, six percent, feel threatened by being replaced by AI.
The Swedish People and AI survey is based on responses from 1,000 people in Sweden between the ages of 16 and 70. It is produced by Insight Intelligence together with the Swedish Privacy Protection Agency (IMY), the Norwegian Agency for Digital Management, eSam and Bonus Copyright Access.
