Dad gave son's bully an ear file – charged

Domestic. A father in Varberg is charged with assault after giving a young man who bullied his son an ear file.

For several weeks, the ear-filed youngster had cycled past the family's house together with other young people and shouted obscenities at his son, who did not want to go to school because of the gang's behavior.

According to Hallands Nyheter, the father, tired of the situation, is said to have waited for the young people one evening and stopped one of them. In the commotion that followed, he gave one of the troublemakers an ear file.

The boy fell into a ditch and has said in questioning that he was shocked and scared. The father admits the deed but believes that the crime should be classified as minor assault.
