The party wants to reduce its focus on conflicts around immigration and instead prioritize the core issues of climate and nature. The goal is to change the image of the party as elitist and “woke”, according to information from Expressen.

The internal MP analysis indicates that the migration issue is a red line for the Social Democrats, which makes it more difficult for the Green Party to win a hearing in a possible government cooperation.
Instead of primarily continuing with cultural Marxism, as has been done in recent decades, the party will now return to its roots.
Expressen formulates it as the MP will stop “taking on all conflicts in the area of migration, an issue that has been strongly prioritized for over ten years”.
