It is in a post on X that Muharrem Demirok makes the comment.

“Vid the side of Trump also opens Germany and Scholz for peace talks with Putin. Scary”, he writes and continues: “Peace in Ukraine cannot happen on the aggressor's terms. Putin's terror and war crimes must be rewarded with one more ticket The Hague, not to the negotiating table.”

The post has received a number of critical comments. One reads:

“Why is it scary? Is it better that Ukraine fights to the last man and loses everything? You should have negotiated peace a long time ago. You are a grown man AND party leader of Sweden's largest party and reasons like a child who has seen Star Wars too many times.”

Journalist and author Chris Forsne makes this appeal to the C leader:

“Voice up. To sit in The TV couch and sending others to their deaths is anything but honorable.”
