Charge: Suffocated two children to death with helium

Domestic. A man in his 40s is now charged with murdering his two children in Södertälje.

The incident occurred in April when the young victims, both under the age of ten, were found lifeless in their home. The man, who has now confessed to the crimes, is suspected of suffocating the children with helium.

The man was arrested in the home on the same day the children were found and has since been in custody. The evidence is extensive and includes technical evidence, forensic medical reports and seizures during the arrest.

Prosecutor Ulrika Rosén emphasizes the strength of the collected evidence ahead of the planned trial, which begins on November 18 and is expected to last five days.
