Stealing police are fired

Domestic. A police officer in Värmland stole eggs and caviar at Ica, stole a colleague's computer and was caught for speeding in a company car. Now he's fired, NWT reports.

The public raised the alarm that the policeman was driving way too fast and at one point he was caught for speeding his company car at 196 kilometers per hour on an 80-lane road.

According to NWT, he is the first Värmland police officer to be dismissed on 2020s.

“It is clear that he grossly disregarded his obligations towards the employer”, the management writes in a report to the personnel responsibility board.
