It was prosecutor Kristina Åberg who took the decision not to seek deportation. She tells about this for Göteborgs-Posten.

– What I can ascertain is that in order to apply for deportation, certain prerequisites for this need to be met. I cannot go into more detail about the reasons because they concern their personal circumstances, says Kristina Åberg to the newspaper.

It was in July that the gang tricked a minor girl into Ruddalen's outdoor area. They then went through the forest to the small lake Slottsbergs Mosse, where the girl was gang-raped by all four.

The two older men, who were of legal age at the time of the incident, are sentenced to five years in prison each for aggravated rape of children . The two younger perpetrators, who were 15 years old, receive closed youth care for nine months.

The convicts must jointly pay damages of almost SEK 400,000 to the affected girl.

18 -year-old is a citizen of Pakistan and the 19-year-old in Afghanistan.
